The Oscars don't mean much to me. A.R Rahman was a genius even before he had the two golden statuettes handed over to him. But If it brings him more fame, (and it will), and bring his music to more people. That's good enough for me.
Now to watch the Indian government go gaa gaa over him and hand him awards because of western recognition.
